Summer Program

The Baltimore City Teaching Residency is currently recruiting and selecting an exemplary cohort to begin teaching in the Fall of 2009.  These Resident Teachers will complete an intensive Training Institute in the Summer before entering Baltimore City classrooms at the start of the 2009-2010 school year.

Placement

Summer Program Residents are eligible to begin working as teachers once they successfully complete pre-service training and pass the required exams.   All Residents entering the Summer Program, who pass the required exams, are guaranteed a job placement for the upcoming school year.

• Special Education - Elementary
• Special Education - Secondary
